A spring-powered mechanical motor advances a full roll (12 exposures) without manual winding, and the matte black finish minimises reflections. These modifications, combined with the quiet leaf shutter typical ofthe base platform, made the camera ideal for discreet installation inside a vehicle for surveillance and espionage. We offer CameraNo.%u2009444, mechanically in full working order; the taking lens has beenremoved. A comparable example, No.029, is illustrated on page 318 of /Chinese Camera Collection & Appreciation / and noted aspart of a special government project. Production figures for theModel 1501 remain undocumented.518 STASI Uranus 5 Spy Camera %u20ac5.0001960s, condition A%u2013 %u20ac 10.000 %u2013 12.000Extremely rare subminiature spy camera developed and used by the STASI ( East German Ministry of the State Security), for 15 round frames%u00a0on 15%u2009mm circular film, with Zeiss Biotar 1.8/10%u2009mmno.%u20094868537, fix focus set to 150%u2009cm, only around 25 units arebelieved to exist!519 Steineck ABC Watch Camera %u20ac1.200*c.1949, condition A/B %u20ac 2.000 %u2013 2.400Classic miniature camera shaped like a wristwatch, in beautiful, complete condition, including a very rare, original presentation case and German instructions.520 Suzuki Optical Co. %u20ac500Camera-Lite Model Ac.1957, condition A%u2013 %u20ac 1.000 %u2013 1.200Rare%u00a0Japanese lighter camera similar to the Echo 8, first versionwith single speed shutter, in mint condition,%u00a0together with originalmaker%u2019s box and 4%u2009%u00d7 unexposed 8%u2009%u00d7%u20098 roll films (in maker%u2019s box).521 Tessina 35 Spy Cigarette Pack %u20ac2.000no. 665445, 1980s, condition A/B %u20ac 4.000 %u2013 5.000Very rare interesting Tessina 35 used by a spy agency hidden in a cigarette pack, in almost mint condition, note the inside has a plateengraved with %u20182Z 87%u2019.522 Zenit KGB Archive %u20ac4.000Camera prototypec.1955, condition B %u20ac 7.000 %u2013 8.000A rare prototype Zenit camera, developed on commission forthe KGB to archive classified documents.
