116212 Leica M3 olive Last Batch Bundeswehreigentum %u20ac60.000*no.1206963, 1968, condition A/B %u20ac 120.000 %u2013 140.000The final batch of olive Leica M3 cameras of this version, with serial numbers 1206962 to 1206999, was produced in 1968 in a very limited run of only 38 cameras. The example offered here is the second camera of this series. It features the characteristic %u2018Bundeswehreigentum%u2019 engraving on the rear of the top plate and is already fitted with the smaller 1/4\noteworthy transitional detail within late M3 olive production.The camera is preserved in beautiful, almost like-new original condition and still retains the original Leitz Wetzlar %u2018L%u2019 seal, a rarely preserved detail on military-issued examples. It is equipped with an Elmar 2.8/50 mm lens, serial number 2326808, likewise manufactured in 1968, forming a correct and period-consistent outfit.
