The present camera bears the much earlier serial number 3550000 and was received by Pentax engineer Keizaburo Saeki, most likely as a pre-production or special presentation example. The serial number 3550000 is engraved on the baseplate, while the inscription %u2018Keizaburo Saeki 3550000%u2019 is engraved on the back door.
