In beautiful condition.55 Leica 72 18 %u00d7 24 mm Midland %u20ac5.000no. 357316, 1954, condition A/B %u20ac 10.000 %u2013 12.000Very rare and early original Leica 72 Midland Ontario in beautiful, mint condition, the shutter curtains need attention, with Summicron2/5 cm no.1318859 (front lens cap). The Leica 72 was the only half-frame Leica model to go into serial production, it takes 72 exposures on a regular 35%u2009mm film (the frame counter goes up to75). The earliest experimental Leica half-frame cameras date back to the 1940s when the film was scarce and valuable. Only 150units were built at the Leitz factory in Midland, Ontario (Canada), undeniably a highly sought-after and collector%u2019s item, in outstanding condition!
