46121Leica M3 First Batch Double Corner An extremely early Leica M3, produced in the first batch of serialproduction that began with serial number 700001 in early 1954. This example, with chassis number 305, features the distinctive two-corner top plate associated with the very earliest M3 cameras. It retains early traits, including the absence of an L-seal, the early chassis construction, and the original double-stroke film advance. The camera was delivered to Cape Town in March 1954 and remains in excellent, original condition. It is accompanied by a collapsible Summicron 50%u2009mm f/2 lens, no.%u20091115548, which was delivered tothe same destination on the same date %u2014 11 March 1954. Finding such an early body together with a matching-delivery lens isexceptionally uncommon, making this a highly desirable and historically important set.Start price %u20ac 40.000*est. %u20ac 80.000%u2013 90.000Serial no. 700074Year of production: 1954condition: B/A
