The camera is in excellent conditionand fitted with the exceptionally rare prototype Post-War Elmar 4/3.5%u2009cm%u2018Snapshot%u2019 lens. This special lens features several unique characteristics: it focuses with click stops, is uncoupled, and bears no engraved serial number. It is also the scarce post-war version with coated optics. The lens is in beautiful, near-mint condition with excellent glass.Although the Snapshot Leica was announced, it was never commercially produced, and only a few examples are known to exist.
