100184 Peter Loseries Shutter %u20ac1.000*prototypes 1960s, condition B/A %u20ac 2.000 %u2013 2.400A rare technical lot from the estate of Leica engineer Peter Loseries, comprising two shutter prototype assemblies with metal blades, most likely developed in connection with the Leicaflex system, together with loupe glasses (Lupengl%u00e4ser) engraved %u2018Loseries.%u2019 Peter Loseries was a long-time Leica engineer active from the 1960s through the early 1980s, primarily involved in shutter development during the Leitz era. He contributed to advanced metal-blade shutter constructions and to projects associated with Leica%u2019s SLR development. An interesting groupof original Leica development material with direct provenance from his estate.185 Leicaflex chrome Pre-Series %u20ac2.000with Summicron 2/50 mm Pre-Seriesc.1964, condition B/A %u20ac 4.000 %u2013 5.000Beautiful extremely rare pre-series of the first version Leicaflex, used for evaluation before the productions commenced, in very good condition, note the absence of serial number, the pie shaped frame counter, early tripod socket, no engraving%u00a0around the back opening button, together with a matching, very rare Summicron 2/50 mm chrome, pre-series no. 2000775, note the absence of %u2018Summicron-R%u2019 or %u2018Leitz Wetzlar%u2019 engravings, with metal hood, front lens cap and maker%u2019s box, a similar set with lens no. 2000804 can be seen in J. Lager %u2018Leica An Illustrated History%u2019 Vol. I p.266.186 Leicaflex SL black %u2014 Olympic %u20ac2.000*Games Munich 1972 Edition %u2018888%u2019 no. 888 / 1367721, 1972, condition A/B %u20ac 4.000 %u2013 4.500Special edition Leicaflex SL produced on the occasion of the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich. This commemorative version was made in limited numbers and supplied to officials and selected recipients, marking Leica%u2019s close association with professional sports photography of the era. This particular example is bearing a luckyedition number %u2018888%u2019 (body no.1367721) and is in beautiful, nearmint condition, it comes with a Summicron-R 2/50 mm no. 2157229, hood, lens cap and a leather case. Only about 5,000 examples were produced.
