                                    1221 Leica Standard black/chrome €1.200*no. 318305, 1939, condition A/B € 2.400 – 2.600A late Leica Standard in beautiful, near-mint condition, withmatching chrome, uncoated Elmar 3.5/5 cm no. 461203, lens cap, FOKOS rangefinder and unnumbered maker’s box, hard to findin this good condition.22 Leica Standard €1.000*black/chrome special 1940s, condition A– € 2.000 – 2.400A beautiful, near-mint Leica Standard, finished in black chrome, without the serial number engraving, with coated Elmar 3.5/5 cm no. 671308 and matching, mint FOFER rangefinder.23 Leica Oberfl.-Messgerät €3.000no. 447815, c.1948, condition B/A € 6.000 – 7.000Extremely rare Leitz special scientific camera body used for Leitz/Forster Oberflächenmessgerät, a surface measuring instrument, the film was wound through the camera with the shutter open, while the light from an ‘Oberflächenmessgerät’ projected a magnified imageof a mechanically crafted surface in order to show an enlarged ‘curve’ of the surface horizontal irregulations on the film, in very goodcondition, with body protection.24 Leica II Mod. D black/nickel €300no. 27826, 1930, condition B+ € 600 – 700 Originally a Leica I Mod. A with Elmar, later converted to Leica II Mod. D version, first delivered to New York in November 1930, note the unusual engravings on the top plate and the original low profile winding knob, in good cosmetical condition, rangefinder still with good contrast, the shutter curtains need attention, with body cap.25 Leica II Mod. D chrome €600no. 108783, 1933, condition B/A € 1.200 – 1.400Very early and rare chrome version in very good condition andworking order, good shutter curtains and well contrasted rangefinder(bottom plate in B condition), first delivered on 01.04.1933, with matching early chrome Elmar 3.5/3.5 cm no. 215067 later coated (good optics) with FOOKH hood, with chrome VIDOM, incontestably a very nice set.26 Leica IIf black/chrome €700no. 35283, 1930 – 60, condition A– € 1.400 – 1.600Very unusual and beautiful body with black/chrome finish, in mint condition (shutter curtains need attention), originally a Leica I Mod. A first delivered to Cologne in May 1930, upgraded by Leitz in 1960 to IIf specifications (rangefinder, flash sync, absence of slow speeds), with Elmar 3.5/5 cm no. 673262 meter scale with optics showing some cleaning marks.27 Leica III Mod. F black/nickel €600no. 53055, 1931 – 38, condition A/B € 1.200 – 1.400Beautiful body in almost mint condition and in working order, originally a Leica I Mod. C non-standard upgraded to III Mod. F specifications in 1938, with unnumbered standardized nickel Elmar 3.5/50 mm.28 Leica III Mod. F €1.500*gold plated outfit no. 192179, 1936, condition B+ € 3.000 – 3.400Interesting Leica III Mod. F, originally a chrome version, later gold plated and lizard skin cover (both not original Leica processes), in good cosmetic condition, with gold plated Elmar 3.5/5 cm no. 460381 and Elmar 3.5/3.5 cm no. 492173, some parts without gold plating and hole drilled close to the accessory shoe.
